Photo shoot with Natasha
With the autumn weather beginning to make its presence felt, it was time to get a bridal photo shoot in the bag!
The Moonraker hotel kindly allowed us to shoot around the grounds of this beautiful building, and is a great venue for weddings!
Located on the outskirts of Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge and just 15 minutes drive from the Spa city of Bath, the Moonraker Hotel is the perfect hotel for both business and leisure guests visiting the area.
Mentioned in the Domesday Book as being part of the Abbess of Glastonbury’s estate, the Moonraker was originally built in classic Queen Anne style before being upgraded in the 17th century to Bath stone.
The weather was bright and sunny, although a strong breeze was determined to blow over the lighting! I had originally planned to photograph outside first, however the sun was high in the sky, which left a few options in the garden of the grounds was an attractive bench that was in a shaded area, along with a beautiful archway leading to the guest accommodation.
Natasha was superb to work with, and had plenty of ideas for the shoot, which made it a breeze!
I took just about everything for this shoot, but ended up using one Godox softbox and ad600 pro for the lighting. Camera was the Sony A7r3 with the 35mm and 135mm Sigma Art lenses, which I love!
I love gadgets and tried the new clone me function on the DJI Osmo gimbal with the iPhone 11 pro max. Great fun and produced some interesting results!
Special thanks go to Absolutely Fabulous flowers of Trowbridge, who made a beautiful bouquet for the shoot! Please check out their website as their creations are fantastic! https://www.ab-fab-flowers.co.uk
